Official facts checked 4 October 2026. Public transport fares, schedules and travel times may change. Check the operator for your date, terminal and exact stop. Published fastest times exclude immigration, waiting and the onward trip to your hotel.

Travelling as a family or group?

For a family of four or five, or several adults, compare the total party cost plus transfers, luggage handling and the final hotel connection. Public transport can still be cheaper; a private vehicle buys a different kind of convenience.

  • 4 adult-fare travellers: N’EX to Tokyo Station ¥12,560; ordinary TYO-NRT bus ¥6,000. Add onward travel to the hotel.
  • 5 adult-fare travellers: N’EX to Tokyo Station ¥15,700; ordinary TYO-NRT bus ¥7,500. Add onward travel to the hotel.

One suitable Alphard: ¥21,000 per vehicle, one way, before applicable surcharges. Child fares and seat rules can reduce public transport totals; these adult-fare examples are not a quote for every family.

A stroller, large bags or child seats can change the vehicle fit. Passenger capacity alone does not guarantee room for all luggage.

Tokyo is not one station

Tokyo Station / Marunouchi, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza and Asakusa have different onward journeys. Compare the station or bus stop with your actual hotel entrance. A direct train may still leave a taxi ride, subway change or long walk.

Disney / Maihama is a separate service area. Booking checks the exact address and switches to the current Disney route and fare when eligible; unsupported addresses require contacting HAFI.

If a private transfer fits, here is how HAFI works

Pre-book a fixed base fare for a door-to-door transfer to a verified address. Meet & Greet and flight monitoring are included. Tolls and parking are included; applicable surcharges and extra requests are shown or confirmed before travel.

Toyota Alphard

¥21,000

Per vehicle · One way
Up to 6 passengers

Toyota HiAce

¥26,000

Per vehicle · One way
Up to 9 passengers

Airport pickup waiting

Your complimentary 90-minute waiting time starts from whichever is later: your booked pickup time or the flight's actual arrival time. This means a flight delay will not reduce your complimentary waiting time.

Child seats

One child seat per vehicle is free upon request. Additional seats in the same vehicle cost JPY 2,000 each. Request in advance; availability and installation conditions must be confirmed. Requests in Notes are not confirmed arrangements. Note: Under Japanese law, licensed taxi and hire-car services may be exempt from the child-seat requirement in certain circumstances. For children's safety, we still recommend using a child seat.

Choose Alphard or HiAce using passenger count, luggage quantity and size, and child-seat requirements together. Add stroller/bulky bag details in Booking notes or contact HAFI to confirm fit. No fixed suitcase count is promised.

Enter your flight and real hotel/address, choose vehicle quantity, then review your details and fare. A Booking request is created before payment; pay using the existing Square link. Your Booking is confirmed only after payment is received and verified.

Questions to settle before you choose

For a solo traveller on a budget, compare public transport first. TYO-NRT's ordinary one-way fare is ¥1,500; rail may suit a hotel near its stations. The cheapest ticket is not necessarily the lowest total hotel journey cost once onward transport is added.

A door-to-door car journey avoids transferring bags between services. A Limousine bus can also be convenient if it stops at your hotel. Rail has luggage facilities, but station walking and your final connection still matter.

A pre-booked vehicle may reduce transfers and keep the party together when children, bags and a stroller are involved. Rail or a suitable hotel bus may cost less. Compare the total party fare, child ticket rules and vehicle/baggage fit before choosing.

It can cost substantially more than one public transport ticket. Narita's fixed taxi fares depend on Tokyo zone and add highway tolls; metered fares and late-night surcharges can differ. Ask for the applicable fare before boarding.

Yes, Uber lists Narita pickup, including Uber Taxi and premium ride options. Check the app for the service available at your terminal, its quote and pickup instructions. Do not assume an inexpensive UberX-style ride or guaranteed driver availability; product, charges and vehicle space vary.

It can be faster for the rail segment and avoids road congestion. N'EX and Skyliner's published fastest times end at specific stations, not your hotel. Include departure waiting, connections and the last walk when comparing the full trip.

Reserve a private transfer ahead of travel and a train seat if you want a designated seat. Limousine reservations depend on route/direction; TYO-NRT currently does not accept advance reservations. Airport taxi stands can be used without pre-booking. Always check last departures for a late arrival.

A pre-booked door-to-door transfer may be easier if you want fewer decisions while tired. A direct hotel bus or reserved train can also work well when its stop is convenient. Balance the extra cost against transfers, baggage handling and the service available after your arrival.

Compare the onward taxi, subway or walk from the rail/bus stop with a door-to-door quote. Tokyo Station, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza and Asakusa are different destinations; check your actual hotel address rather than choosing on the word Tokyo alone.

Alphard ¥21,000; HiAce ¥26,000 base fare. Applicable surcharges appear in Booking. Per vehicle · one way. Public transport usually charges per passenger. Several passengers can share one suitable vehicle, but baggage and child seats may mean choosing a larger vehicle or additional vehicles.
